Description
The herd was grazing along California Scenic Route 74 in the Garner Valley. I stopped to catch a good vantage point, with the San Jacinto Mountains in the backdrop. But the cattle kept moving away from me in a spooked fashion. Finally, I angled my way to the right spot. But they were still keeping a wary lookout for the intruder. This back road area that ends up in the Palm Desert is a real hidden gem of a drive.
