Description

After centuries of cultivation, today's water lilies are a mixture of many cultivated kinds. They bloom in various hues from mid-spring through mid-autumn. I found these two beauties in a small private Japanese pond. The koi found their way under the leaves as soon as I arrived. A quiet, relaxing scene.
