"Out Of The Mist" ~ Lily Rock
Lily Rock emerges from the mist that is moving around the peak, looming over the Strawberry Valley and Idyllwild, California. There is a tremendous mystique to a scene like this. Lily Rock is a giant granite peak, similar to what you would see in the Yosemite Valley, and rock climbers come from miles away to practice their skills on it. It's hard to imagine that not too far away is Palm Springs, a scorching desert environment by comparison. Also an oasis for vacationers during the winter months.
Such is the harsh life of living in California... chuckle,chuckle.
I've added brushstroke and textures effects to this photograph. A nice twist to the work that is only available in 4 print sizes and few few accessories. Use the High Resolution Preview to see the details.
