This vintage World War 2 aircraft was on the tarmac at the local private airport. Registered at one time to the Riverside Air and Prop Museum this twin engine Beechcraft has been a mainstay and favorite of locals. The nose art "Sweet Dreams" is it's signature trademark. Lots of maintenance needed to keep this one going. But great eye candy for the spectator and photographer.

Great shot -- there's a B17 stationed at our local airport and on weekends it flies regularly, going right over our house as it take off -- I always run outside to see it :-) Amazing to think those old birds still fly.
