Description
We were on a trip to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve in Lancaster... and found very few that were blooming. But, looking north we could see the bright orange patches reflecting in the valley some miles away. So, we meandered down some desert dirt roads to these wonderful fields!
Nature was alive with color. Here is my mixture of poppy, wildflowers, mountains, clouds and sage.

Absolutely terrific colors -- the bright orange of the poppies just glows, set against the lavender sagebrush and the blues of mountain and sky. Love this!
