This is a photo from Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur, California. We were hiking the Pfeiffer Falls trail in the late afternoon. The canopy kept the weather just right. But alas... as usual... time ran out. The enchanting forest would have to wait for another trip north.
