The Julian Historical Society is found in the small mountain town of Julian, California. It is a tourist destination that is known for it's quaint country atmosphere, laid back lifestyle, and apple pies. At the height of the season over 10,000 apple pies are sold per week.
The little town was founded originally as a gold mining camp, but incorporated in 1870. It has a population of around 1,500 people today. Just right for those who love the Cuyamaca Mountains and homespun eateries. You will not find a cookie cutter food franchise here
