Description
This is an entryway to the back of the La Purisima Mission property. One passes under the two crosses to get rear work area of the property.
"The Mission of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary" is the English translation of the Spanish Name ( La Misión de La Purísima Concepción de la Santísima Virgen María ) for this fantastic mission. La Purisima is the only mission owned and operated by the State Of California. It has been wonderfully restored in 1941 by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
This is the most impressive California Mission I have visited aside from San Juan Capistrano. The history museum here is the best. The large property takes you back in time.

I've treated the photography with subtle textures. Use the High Resolution Preview for a closer look at the details. The Fine Art America Security Watermark does not appear on any purchased product.

Great image, Glenn. The orange walls against the blue sky; the repeated pattern of the doorways and crosses. l/f

Thank You Jim. Yes, those textures were enough to help me cut the bright sun a bit.
