Description
This is one of the terra cotta tile walkways found at Mission San Juan Capistrano... possibly the most beautiful mission of them all. The gardens were in full bloom on this visit, and the weather couldn't have been any more perfect. There is a sense of peace that comes over you while strolling around this majestic historical site, which was founded in 1775. One the of the most magnificent of North American historical significance and some of the most popular ruins in the country. An earthquake in 1812 caused the Great Stone Church to collapse. It was one of the tallest structures on the continent at that time.
