Description
The Old Point Loma Lighthouse in Cabrillo National Park, sits in the distance. The pathway leads along the cliffs above the tide pools.
What once was thought an ideal spot for helping ships was realized as a liability due to the fog banks that would roll in an snuff out the ability of the lamp to be seen. Another lighthouse was built below and the cliff location has become an icon of the San Diego area.
Use the High Resolution Preview for a closer view. The Fine Art America Security Watermark does not appear on any purchased image.
