Description
A Pen and Ink work I started in early 2009 as a follow-up to "Hourglass".
The Grandfather clock is about to strike the midnight hour, symbolizing our impending destiny to meet with the Creator of all things for that final answer. For those of us who feel that time is speeding away... there may still be unanswered questions. For others there may be that intense excitement of going to meet with Christ... face to face.
There are references to many different biblical events throughout the drawing. See how many of the open and hidden references that you can find. If you have any questions... drop me a line or comment and I will get back to you.
As always, I would be honored for you to purchase a piece.
" Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me". Rev 3:20

Wish the presentation on the net could really shoe the impact of the original.

Excellent work! nice detail.
Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography replied:
Pulled from some traditional elements. It's funny because my daughter recognized the very small portion of that piece of art hanging on the wall.
