The lights and shadows play through the small gorges of Walker Canyon in Southern California. The poppies are starting to bloom and the hillsides are green from the moisture of a good rainfall season.
I've rendered the "Rolling Hillsides in California - Square" into a textural painting style photograph through the processes of Picasa, Fotosketcher, and GIMP textural blends. The colors popped.
