The Super Bloom on the rolling hills of Walker Canyon, in Lake Elsinore, California. The late afternoon sun back lights the dramatic colors and textures of the landscape.
It was worth the trip despite the crowds that clambered about and waded into the fields making mats of the terrain. I hiked about as far back as daylight would allow to escape the madness.

Thank You Norma. I was there on Thursday, March 14th. I was on a mission that day. We had also been there a couple of weeks earlier with family. It changed dramatically in that time.
