Description
The Alabama Hills have been the back drop for many of Hollywood's greatest movies. Located On the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range, the rugged terrain is suited just right for those western horse chases and scorching desert drama.
I took this lone tree photo and worked an ethereal color play, a textural impression, and a vignette into the scene. Mount Whitney (The highest peak in the Continental USA) can be seen in the distance.
I don't think I'd like to be left out there without a full canteen!
