Artist's Description

Car 3165 is the last streetcar delivered to Los Angeles prior to the current generation of "light rail" operations. It was the final car of a 40-unit order of "All-Electric" PCCs purchased by Los Angeles Railway. I found the old car at the Orange Empire Railway Museum, pulled into the maintenance area undergoing some regular work. These nostalgic transports are a fascinating glimpse into the past... with a cool retro style!

About Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography

Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography

Welcome to Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography. My primary goal is to share art and photography that matters, or just clicks somewhere in your soul. I choose to stay away from being typecast in one style, theme, or stereotype. I prefer to dabble in a variety of scenes and venues. But I think you'll find that I have a fondness of the great outdoors. Perhaps we need to pause a bit longer and enjoy a hot beverage and a bit of conversation along the way. That seems to be a lost art in a day where everything is moving far too fast. Click the Collection of your choice and begin your journey. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by pressing the Contact button. (C) ALL GLENN MCCARTHY ART IS COPYRIGHT PROTECTED....
