I guess I didn't expect to see surfing going on between the rocks in this area of the Big Sur coastline. But as I started a series of photos there they were enjoying the magnificent ruggedness. And the waves were pretty good too.
This part of California is considered one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in the world. I know it is a favorite of mine. It gives more to my soul than it takes.
