Description
After my excursion through the Angeles National Forest I ended up in the Arroyo Seco area and decided to drop into the canyon and take a few photos of this beautiful stadium. The red roses and palms fit in quite nice, helping to frame the structure.
The Rose Bowl is an outdoor athletic stadium in Pasadena, California, just outside of Los Angeles. Built in 1922 and located among the San Gabriel Mountains in the Arroyo Seco of Los Angeles County. This tradition laden arena is a National Historic Landmark, and is the 18th largest stadium in the world. The Original Construction was completed in 1922.
Today it is widely known as the home of the UCLA Bruins football team. The Stadium was named after the Tournament Of Roses parade that is held every January in Pasadena, California.
