"The Spring Rose" came from a garden that I was walking in with camera in hand. It was a bright early spring day.

The bees were busy buzzing around in nature. I can't remember ever seeing such vibrant colors. In fact the gardener came by to get a pat on the back for a job very well done. I could tell that he was very proud of that years blooms... as he should have been.

I decided to add a brushstroke and painted finish to this photograph. It really gives it a nice touch of art. Of course, I wouldn't consider it anything less. Enjoy.
