Description
Ansel Easton Adams was an American photographer and environmentalist. He is well known for his black-and-white landscape photographs of the American West, especially Yosemite National Park. I don't think it is a far stretch to state that most black and white photographs of Yosemite, and especially Half-Dome, conjure up the work of Adams. There is a unrivaled majesty about this special place.
I took this photo while standing below the dome in one of the small twin lakes down below. I think it was actually more of a puddle at the time.
