Description
I know of no one that does not like a hot air balloon... unless they have had a bad experience in one! On Thanksgiving Day 2011 this particular balloon seemed to be a runaway that just did not want to cooperate. Thankfully the Captain finally commandeered it into an open field where the ground crew secured it. A thrilling ride for the unsuspecting passengers, and a fun chase for me with my camera.
Use the High Resolution Preview for a look at the digital textured/brushstroke finish. The Fine Art America Security Watermark does not appear on any purchased product.

Glenn, Great detailed capture of this hot air balloon love the way it feels like you can reach out and grab it, remarkable details and a great textured sky LF

Your presentation of this fabulous balloon makes it look so vintage - I expect the people to be dressed with white scarves and leather helmets! l/f

Thanks so much to everyone who has stopped in here to comment on my "Chasing Hot Air Balloons" work. It was one of those days when I was in a big hurry to pick-up a family member. But when I saw what was happening I had to follow along and capture whatever the moment would yield. The enhancements through saturation and textural development helped to draw out the dramatics in a better way. God Bless, Glenn
