Description
The beautiful McCloud River tumbles into a pool at the Lower McCloud Falls of Northern California. Amazing how the water had carved it's way through the basalt lava rock that was laid during an episode of the past when Mount Shasta had erupted.
I was fortunate to catch this stunning scene at the beginning of Autumn in 2023.
