Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

A wonderful vantage point to catch a view of the old church ruins across the entry courtyard and gardens. The decay of the ruins from over the many years add to the old world ambiance in this centuries old hub of Spanish Mission Life and Catholic Proselytization. The ruins of the mission are some of the oldest in North America. Across the top you can see tarps in place to help preserve them from the inclement weather. In the middle is a statue of Father Junipero Serra, the founder of the mission. It's stunningly beautiful!
Tragedy struck the settlement when on the morning of December 8, 1812, the "Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin", a series of large earthquakes shook Southern California during the first Sunday service. The 7.0-magnitude earthquake racked the doors to the church, pinning them shut. When the ground finally stopped shaking, the bulk of the nave had come crashing down (the background ruins), and the bell tower was completely obliterat...
