We're all enchanted by the dream of floating off into the end of a perfect day. The Temecula Hot Air Balloon and Wine Festival, in Southern California, gave me the opportunity to photograph these beautiful, whimsy creations. There is a sense of adventure that accompanies the launch of dozens of hot air balloons at the same time. Children love to chase them as they make their way into the distance. Adults daydream of a better day. It's all in good fun, and make for a beautiful sight.
