What I Have Done:
I have worked the image through various programs including GIMP, Fotosketcher, and Picasa programs.
My main focus was to give it a traditional impressionistic finish. Along the way I added birds and a deer, while also working with textures and filters. These helped to give it more depth and contrast. It also helped me to crank up the color.
