Description
The photograph was taken at the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, California. I have worked it several ways. I finally settled on the paint brush finish after many hours of work. Hope that you enjoy it, and accept the message that it represents.
An invitation to everyone who will lay down their preconceived notions of Christ and open themselves up to his very direct and and pointed message.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Jesus said it in Matthew 11: 28-30
