Artist's Description
Part of late actor Francis Lederer's Estate, the Hidden Chateau was once part of the stable area. Marion Lederer, his wife, transformed them into the Canoga Mission Gallery in the 1970s. It is a gateway structure into the West Hills at the edge of the San Fernando Valley.
It is a well recognized landmark of "The Valley" and designated a Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument. Construction was first started in 1934.
