A psalm is a sacred song, hymn, or poem; usually, the term is associated with the Book of Psalms, a book in the Bible containing 150 of these sacred works. Most of the psalms are believed to be written by David, the Hebrew king who lived around 970 B.C. In Psalm 8 David ponders the thought of comparing man to the Creator. Yet the Creator takes notice of us!
