This Queen Anne Cottage, on Santa Cruz's historical Walnut Street, was built in 1885. I just loved the elaborate detailing and the unusual turret over the entryway.
The entire neighborhood is shrouded in afternoon light and shadows because of all the old trees that line the street. The one that obscures the face of this home seems to be flaunting it's natural beauty in comparison to the man-made structure. The landscape adds a great deal to the romantic beauty of this particular home.
