Hidden Treasure - Small Town America metal print by Glenn McCarthy Art and Photography. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This Queen Anne Cottage, on Santa Cruz's historical Walnut Street, was built in 1885. I just loved the elaborate detailing and the unusual turret over the entryway.
The entire neighborhood is shrouded in afternoon light and shadows because of all the old trees that line the street. The one that obscures the face of this home seems to be flaunting it's natural beauty in comparison to the man-made structure. The landscape adds a great deal to the romantic beauty of this particular home.
