Description
The beautiful McCloud River cascades it's way downward into calm pools. It was a peaceful early autumn morning near the Lower McCloud Falls of Northern California, and we encountered very few people along the trail. I marveled at the changing of the seasons. We just don't experience the same color changes in the southern part of the state.
In my younger days I would have attempted to cross that timber fallen across the water. Not today! I was happy enough to just keep my footing while looking for the perfect spot to capture the scene.
