The Star Spangled Banner waves over the monument dedicated to those who have gone above and beyond by laying life and limb on the line for their fellow warriors. Preserving our liberty, at all costs, is what these heroes will be remembered for.

Riverside National Cemetery is home to the Medal of Honor Memorial, which is recognized by the U.S Congress as a National Medal of Honor Memorial Site. On the black granite walls are 3,487 names etched of the men and women that have proudly served this Country and earned the prestigious Medal of Honor. The wars they served in are listed starting from the Civil until the present day.
