Description
The Cholla Cactus Garden Nature Trail at Joshua Tree National Park is a short trail of about a quarter mile. This photograph caught the garden with a nice view of the Hexie Mountains in the background. All the elements seem to flow together.
These nasty little plants will jump at you if you get too close. The Cholla Garden is crawling with tons of them. It's a beautiful natural scene as the needles tend to illuminate in the sunlight.
