Description
The great naturalist and conservationist John Muir spent lots of time in the great wilderness. He was a man of deep convictions about how we treat the creation and the importance of preserving it. He was also a man of great spiritual conviction, not shy at all to voice beliefs in the Creator of all things. He blazed the trail known as the John Muir Wilderness Trail that spans from Yosemite to Mount Whitney in the interior of the Sierra Nevada's. This Photo from Yosemite Valley is of Cathedral Rocks and Spires from the eastern side of the canyon through which Bridalveil Creek flows. Some people think these rocks, just opposite of El Capitan, are even more impressive than El Capitan! I personally love them all!
The Musician Bob Bob Bennett once wrote:
"I've sung in mountain cathedrals
With steeples rising high
And altars made of evergreen
And windows made of sky"
"Natures Cathedral"
