A photo taken at the end of the day while on the beach in National Harbor.
The hand is from "The Awakening" sculpture and rises about 20 feet out of the sand and into the air. Washington D. C. is just on the other side of the silhouetted Woodrow Wilson Bridge. The passenger plane seems to have just escaped the clutches of the giant.
