Description
This is a very personal piece. I started as a time challenge study drawing, limiting myself to a certain amount of hours. The thought of the moment was... Christ taking all of our failures and burdens upon Himself. Though the real scene was full of crowds and people, he was very alone in His quest to accomplish the work He was sent to do. One spotless sacrifice to cleanse us from our sins and redeem anyone who is willing to accept it.
1 Peter 2:24 24 "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."
